For each cup of rice, use 1 cup of water.

The safe way: Wash the rice. When cleaning the water gently with your finger flat on the rice-filled bowl. When the water reaches the last joint of the medius, stop to. This works for any amount you want to cook rice. What I have from my Japanese American uncle.

The kitchen is usually a measuring cup and rice in the pot, it is a sign to show the amount of water needed. For 1 cup of white rice (usually 3 / 4 cup self) 1 cup water and brown rice is 1 cup rice 2 cups water.

With the score at the inner pot is very accurate. Wash rice and put the amount of water at this level and have perfect rice every time!

Start with a ratio of 2:1 (water: rice, by volume) and adjust from there.
